Congrats are in order for Phylicia Rashad! The Tony Award-winning stage and television actress has been named as the first Denzel Washington Chair in Theater at Fordham
University.
Denzel donated $2.25 million to his alma mata this week as a proud 1977 graduate of Fordham's theater
program. The donation will endow the school's first professorship in theater. Phylicia will also teach a class next semester.
