Tamar Braxton, arguably the breakout star of WE tv's "Braxton Family Values," denies that she's changed since the success of the show's first season.
"I'm the same person. I can't act like I'm somebody else unless I'm on film… I can't keep that up in general conversation," she told TheGrio.com.
"Maybe [Toni] can't handle being the only person that's noticed," Tamar said in response to the comment Toni made during the show: "Tamar can't handle success. It goes straight to her head."
"It sounds absolutely ridiculous," said Tamar, who denies that she's competing with her sister's success.
"Toni is who she is, and there's no competition between Toni and I. We sound totally different. I don't want to sing the kind of music she sings. I don't want to stand in front of the microphone with a long gown. That's not hot to me," she said.
"I want to be poppin' it and droppin' it and having fun with my fans," she said.
While Tamar's personality can easily be described as exuberant, the reality star told Loop21 that she's actually shy and that the series' success has been a bit "overwhelming."
